My Luck
I have had the BEST luck tonight. There was a bad weather front that came through our town again tonight. There were a couple tornadoes sighted but there was not the type of damage that there was three weeks ago. Anyway, the storm blew over and it was all over so we decided to go ahead and go to the movie we had planned to see.
Side note, we had bought tickets to go see ATL at 9:15 at the only movie theatre in town that is showing it. I had called at 7:15 to see if they were still going to show it and they said yes.
So anyway, we decide to go. I need to run by my house first though. We get to my house and I DONT HAVE POWER. MY BLOCK IS THE ONLY BLOCK IN THE AREA THAT DOESNT HAVE POWER. The houses across the street ALL have it and I dont... OK so I am
P!SSED. But hey, lets go to the movie and we will come back here to check on it when it is over and if there is still no power then we can just get my stuff and I will stay at mathrocks house.
We are driving along and get to the movie theatre and guess what... THE MOVIE THEATRE IS THE ONLY BUILDING IN THE STRIP MALL THAT DIDNT HAVE POWER!!!! I was soooo salt!!! It seemed like the only two places that I needed or wanted to be at tonight were out of power.
I am never going to the movies on a Sunday ever again. Three weeks ago when the tornado blasted through, I was at the movies and the tornado touched down ON TOP of the theatre. This weekend I bought tickets early in the day and the tornadoes came to town. I think I bring them here if I want to go to the movies. So citizens of this lovely town I just want to let you know that I promise not to go to the movies on a Sunday EVER AGAIN. So if any more tornadoes blow through you cant blame me.

What are you doing going to the movies on Sundays anyway? You should be doing what I do and grading the last week's worth of papers and blogging.
