Go HEAD COACH....

Ok... so we had a tournament today in a town about two hours from our town. Things are going along just great. Its the third inning and the score is tied 2-2. We try to squeeze a girl in at home and she gets called out. It was a close play and techically she should have been safe, but I will spare you the rules. WELL, Coach F is walking back to the dugout talking back to the umpire about the call, and he just wont quit. HE GETS KICKED OUT OF THE GAME!!!! Not just you cant come out on the field... I mean out of the park!!! So what does this leave???? ME!!! The only coach left!!! So I have to take over a Varsity game in the third inning without ever having coached a varsity game EVER, much less by myself!!! I was SOOOOO nervous! Its not like a varsity game is any different than a JV game, they are both softball. Its just that Varsity is WAY more important... so anyway. Im thinkin...just get through this game and he can come back and resume is position at the second game... WRONG... once your out your out... SOOOO Coach Ch-Hay gets to be head coach one more time...I didnt let that bother me though and soon got pretty comfortable... and guess what.... WE CAME BACK AND WON!!! 6-2!!! I was soooo proud of myself!! That team was not a bad team either. I was also very proud of my girls for not getting their heads down when all of this occured!! YOU GO GIRLS!!

So what happened in the second game you ask.....we lost...BUT only 0-4 to a team that has a pitcher that is going to a D-1 school on a softball scholarship and a team that has only one loss under their belt... GOOD JOB GIRLS!!!
