Cuz I have to....
So I am writing this blog cuz I have to. Ch-hay told me I have to keep up since I slacked off so much before. So I am offically a loser... it is 10:30 on a Friday night and I am blogging... Im not out having a good time like a normal 24 year old...just sitting on my @ss... BUT I can blame it on the fact that my bus for my softball game leaves at 7 in the morning so I CANT go out... it would make me too tired in the morning... yeah right...oh well... so I will sit here and watch yet another John Cusack movie...at least he is cool... maybe I can s uck some coolness out of him to make me feel better... :)
So my softball team finally played a good game. They played like I know they can. They FINALLY got aggressive and did what needed to be done to win... we beat a team that was definatly better than us...we were 5-16 and they were 11-5... I am proud of them and hope they continue this great streak. I go home a little happier when we actually win.
One final note... I wish that people would stay professional when they are at work... I can not say that I am not guilty, BUT I usually dont go very far. Point being... if you are a teacher, don't talk to the students about other teachers... they dont need to know anything about them... you are not there to be their friend, even though you want them to like you, you are there to teach. If I have learned anything in my first year... that is it... and a few minor things...but you get my point...

The bad thing about not acting professional is that people usually hear about it. Teenagers like to talk. Another thing is that there is a fine line...We all try to determine where that fine line is, and everyone thinks it's in a different place...but there are some OBVIOUS no-no's, and like you said, one of them is talking to the students about other teachers. I ALWAYS stick up for other teachers and don't let kids talk about them, even if I really know they deserve to be talked about. With kids, it's just something you don't do. It undermines your professionalism, and it shows that you are an immature person. Talking with adults is one thing, but when you have to gossip to kids...Well, that's just sad...
